Our Crème Brûlée gelato captures that signature rich custard flavour with shards of Werther's Original butterscotch candy for the satisfying crunch of caramelised sugar. Smooth, luxurious, and utterly indulgent. We have turned the classic French dessert into a scoopable masterpiece.
Flavour experience
We replicate the taste of a torched sugar crust by using a specific blend of ingredients. We start with a base of fresh milk and double cream, enriched with French vanilla paste for that authentic custard profile. We then swirl in Dolce Latte, a thick caramelised milk paste, to add deep toffee notes. Finally, we fold in crushed butterscotch candies to mimic the burnt sugar topping.
Texture
This gelato is designed to offer contrast. The base is exceptionally smooth and velvety, thanks to the double cream and egg yolk richness of the vanilla paste. This softness is interrupted by the snap and crunch of the hard candy pieces. It delivers the same satisfaction as cracking the top of a real crème brûlée.
